THE INTELLECTUAL
7's are the searchers.
Always probing for hidden information, they find itdifficult to accept things at face value.
Emotions don't sway their decisions.
Questioning everything in life, they don't like to be questioned themselves.
They're never off to a fast start, and their motto is slow and steady wins the race.
They come across as philosophers and being very knowledgeable, and sometimes as loners.
They are technically inclined and make great researchers uncovering information.
They like secrets.
They live in their own world and should learn what is
acceptable and what not in the world at large..............
Famous 7's: William Shakespeare, Lucille Ball,
Michael Jackson, Joan Baez,
and Princess Diana.
can't believe's that's me!!! =) Anyway, 16 more days to As. study!!!!!
haven't seen this quote for quite sometime.

22 more days to A levels. stress stress and more stress.
22 more days to swallow all facts. facts that were supposed to be in our brains during prelims.
Evading the problem does not solve anything.
22 more days for crucial information and details to seep into our head.
try eating our books, try surgery and implant our books, or try sleeping on our books.
22 more days to write at least 50 history essays, 20 lit essays, 10 music essays, and perhaps a number of GP essays.
Or for the science people, to complete the prelim papers of various JCs, past yr papers and do the TYS for the millionth time.
22 more days for intensive consultation and hear teachers talk about fairy tale characters in Hard Times.
How apt.
22 more days for 2 more history mock exams, 2 Music mock exams, 2 lit mock exams and 1 GP mock exam.
As the day draws closer, it sure makes my heart beat faster.
In March next year, I might just die of a heart attack.
There's so much to do in so little time.
Why can't there be 1000 hours a day?
All in all, we've only got 22 more days.
The above is for all sitting for their A level examinations. also reflecting my true feelings at this point of time. It sure is freaking me out. My dream of getting triple A seems so far-fetched. Sometimes i really do wonder if it's possible. My seniors have been encouraging and tell me that he managed to pull up his grades from like Ds and Es to triple A. after doing 50 history essays. 50 history essays ain't that hard right? 45 mins per essay. Easier said than done. It's time i slapped myself and do 3 history essays a day. To be more realistic, at least outlines. MEP prac, recital is next tues. Ivory keys here i come.
Take Care all. Stay healthy.

May today there be peace within.
May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be....
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you....
May you be content knowing you are a child of God....
Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of you....
Amen.

woohoo! went to get my violin today. feels like a brand new one. love it now that the fingerboard and strings are closer to one another, the pegs are smoother, no more traces of old rosin, richer and fuller sound. i love it!!! thanks to Michael, the one who "healed" my violin. checked my soundpost and all and decided it was too short and changed it for me there and then! great! now i must focus on my piano and not be distracted by my violin. but how to when my violin's so great now? =)
i ought to stick to SCHOOL stuff and not music stuff. it's sad isn't it? how i can't exclusively do something that i love. =( and yes yes, i know A level grades are important. will be striving hard. have signed up for a zillion consultations next week. and like mr welch says, he'll prob be "climbing out of the STI on (his) knuckles". =p i know our teachers are extremely concerned and i thank God for that. but it's not good to be breathing down our necks. but i know they mean well.
life's not very bright now. in fact, pretty bleak. they say the A levels is the worst part of your life. i truly hope so. wish me luck everyone. stay healthy <---- that's very impt!

and yes, with that title i'm sure everyone is fully aware of what happened. HE CALLED ME!!! he didn't start with a "hello", but started with a "are u in the middle of your exams?" and then i started screaming shao wen!!! haha. to all you ppl who knows shao wen, he sends his regards to everyone! and that he's fine over in winchester. he's got seniors who's studying in Kings to look after him. such a great guy. and an extremely lucky one too. sorry for making such a huge commotion over this. but, shao wen called me! =) and yes, that's the highlight of my monotonous, boring day.

but nevertheless, shao-wen called me!!! =)
