General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed - but i don't see that - seems to me that love is everywhere.

Igniting, laughter, wreaking havoc, breaking hearts, daring committments, forcing choices, catupalting spirits, forging inroads, creating risks - ecstatic, unexpected, exciting, unwelcome, inconvenient, inexplicable, inelegant, unequalled.

Love at work.
Love rocks on.
Love unspoken.
Love is awkward.
Love and politics.
Love is elementary.
Love american style.
Love lasts a lifetime.
Love as a second language.

Love actually IS all around.

If you think the above's familiar, think you guys know where i took it from. =)

Came home today saw a couple at the void deck in each others arms. Used to irk me a lot. But now I think it's really sweet. Love actually is everywhere. In the air, in actions, in our speeches. It's sweet how people cherish one another and treasure relationships. It's sweet how people express their love and concern to people they care. True friends are wonderful people and I so sincerely appreciate all my dear friends out there who have always been there for me. Sad to hear when someone's leaving the country to further their studies. Do come back often to visit poor me who's stuck here yea? =)

It's really cold these few days and sometimes yearn a nice warm hug from someone I love. Maybe it's only now. Cos I'm really freezing in the living room at 2.18 in the morning. Now, is there really that someone out there? Maybe when my skin wrinkle, teeth fall out then I'll find that someone. There's just this premonition in me that I'll not fall in love in the near future. Wonder if that's going to be true. Well, it's just a great feeling to be loved. I am being very much loved now. By friends, family, and great people. You guys rock. But you know in this cold season, it'll be great if I can lean up to someone and lie in his arms. Fantasizing too much here. Come back to the real world! where this guy doesn't exist. At least not yet.

I do sound lovelorn don't I? haha. I'm not really. Just putting down thoughts that are running through my head. Falling in love? Not yet. At least I don't think so. There's just too much time now so thoughts are kind of running wild in me.

As the year is coming to and end, I would like to acknowledge everyone that has been there for me this whole entire year. Ups and downs. Sorrows and joys. Thank you for all the love you guys have showered on me. =)

In love, out of love. But surrounded by great amounts of love.

Love actually IS all around.

Merry Christmas everyone and have a fulfilling new year ahead! =)

8-10 Dec was great. And also the most hectic days of this month. (i hope!)

8 Dec was the start of the TCHS-TKGS camp in preparation for the concert on the 10th. And yes, of course the TK girls complanined about Chinese High campus being too big and everything. I thought Suk sounded quite good that rehearsal. A pity it didn't sound as good in the actual concert. I left in the afternoon to check into Ritz cos 8 Dec was PROM too!!!

Was real tired when I stepped into Ritz. Almost overslept on the bus to Marina. Super tired. Wanted to sleep before the makeup and hair ppl came but decided that I won't wake up if i really did sleep. Then the makeup ppl came. I didn't really like the look he gave me. But thought i'll just shut up. didn't exactly like my eyes. And didn't like my hair too. No curlers!!! =( Wonder why i paid so much for. For no curlers! That was the upset of the day. Totally loved that hairstyle I found online and am disappointed that i couldn't do it. Maybe i should have tied my hair up that day. Well, basically, I just didn't really liked the way I looked that night. Just wasn't really me. And felt that I paid too much for my hair, of which think it was just lotsa spray and clips. But I thought min looked really great after the makeup and hair. She looked absolutely fantastic!!! Think she had the best makeover among the 3 of us. Yes min, you really looked good that night! Funky hair!

Took lots of photos in Ritz and saw lots of new faces. They all look soooo different. Especially the girls. Makeup does wonders. Took photos till I could only see stars and only stars. (photos are up by the way!!!) Everyone looked great that night! Though I didn't like my own look, I still had fun. Especially at my table. We were all going bananas. We were so desperate. To get the "blessed draw". Think we were the only ppl who were so enthusiastic bout it. Climbing onto tables, chairs lifting out table number up high cos we were sitting right in front of the stage. Insane we were. Oh yes, did i mention that some online magazine stopped me and my classmates to take a photo of us. Photos are up at www.uberture.com i think. And the night before prom i was looking through the other JCs' photos. How coincidental. Then the bunch of us went to Centro. It was packed. I must say that place was quite good though it was a little small. Felt cheated on my first drink though. Didnt wanna really spend anymore money so didn't drink anymore. Went back to Ritz at about 330am. Bathed and everything and it was already like 4am. Had to get my stupid hair dry b4 i could sleep so obviously didn't sleep eventually. Wrote crappy one sentence story with Dan. Read it and you'll die laughing. Think min died laughing. Deprived of sleep. That's what happens. Me and Dan were nice enough to go buy them Macs breakfast and met Sam, Nick, Raymond those guys also waiting for Macs to open up. It was funny how Dan had to put his face close to whatever he sees. haha. It was hilarious. Blind mouse. The consequence of not bringing your specs! Oh and that morning was freezing cold. Brrrrr... Coming back to hotel was hilarious. Forgot our room number and went trying another room's door. Ooops. Then don't know how to open the bloody door. But got it opened everntually. The bed just loooked so inviting and crept into bed after breakfast. Was woken up by them talking about what time i was supposed to be at for rehearsals. Then it strucked me that I had to be at rehearsals. Damn. Zombified me dragged myself to rehearsal on cab with Dan. Think some ppl saw me falling asleep during rehearsals. Sorry, but i was really tired. Stayed up the entire night and think I only slept for an hour at 8am. Thank God they let me off at 3pm. Rehearsed till 3pm then went home. To sleep. From 6pm till 7am the nxt day, forgoing dinner. Parents couldn't wake me up. hehe.

That was prom. 8 December 2003. Seniors' Night 2003. I had a great time. =) Hope the ACJC Class of 2003 had a great time too. That night marked the end of our journey in AC. All the fun, laughter, knowledge, everlasting friendships, memories and every single moment we experienced in AC. I'll miss you guys and AC. =) God Bless all...

Officially off from school! No more uniforms! At least for 7 months and the years to come!
No more exams, perhaps other than my piano and violin exams.
No more textbooks, perhaps other than researching for viva voce and programme notes.
No more teachers breathing down my neck, perhaps other than my two music teachers.
No more mugging like I've no life! <------ I like this!

The air of freedom smells really nice. Though the girls kinda realised that we truly have NO life other than studying while we were in school. The group of us slouched over Coffee Bean's table, wondering what we should do. It's high time to get our lives back!

Life of a shop-a-holic. Have been gallavanting in Orchard for the past few days. Getting really bored of everything there. Initially aimed to find a new gown for Seniors' Night but eventually decided on not buying and keeping to what i have. Instead I've decided on getting new shoes, accessories, and other stuff to go with my dress. I'm sure some of you have seen me in that. My formal concert attire. Don't yawn unless you want to sponsor me for Seniors' Night. And I mean FULL sponsor. Or maybe 80%! I must be dreaming. Have been dreaming about the perfect gown but it doesn't seem to exist in reality, only in lala land. =) Shopping have been quite fun, but it's getting boring. Soon, I must find fresher things to do.

Of course, going back to TK for rehearsals have been fun. Miss playing together with TK. But I think playing in small chamber groups is more fun. =) Hope the upcoming camp between TCHS and TK will be fun (for the current TK girls of course!) The camp happens to be on 8,9,10 Dec. On Seniors' Night! So will be skipping the afternoon rehearsal. Should be thankful that I'm already going in the morning ya? =)

Went to catch the Swingle Singers on 29 Nov. They have made me staunchly believe that the voice is truly the most versatile instruments. They're really greeeaaatttt! Captivating. Their voices, so magical, ethereal, and stunning. I'm glad I went for the concert cos listening to their recordings is simply not enough. They're wonderful performers!!! You just gotta love them. But I gotta say that I utterly hate the esplanade usherers. Thank God they have already off-ed the lights and we found nice seats. (min and dan will know what i mean) Esplanade usherers should go for some common sense courses. And this is not the first time I'm having a problem with them. They don't possess any bit of cow sense. Zero. Zilch. Anyway, the concert was really good so that made up for the irritating usherers. =)

More shopping with debs tmr to settle on Seniors' Night stuff once and for all. This week's gonna be really hectic. With TK Gala Dinner (50th anni!) on 5 Dec, fri. SYO concert on 6 Dec, Sat. HC String Concert on 7 Dec, Sunday. AC Seniors' Night on 8 Dec, Monday. TK-TCHS String Rehearsals on 8,9,10 Dec. TK-TCHS Concert on 10 Dec, Wed.

Then I wanna go do watersports at some island. Bintan or whatever! Must plan plan plan... My sister's in US visiting my cousin. So I wanna go overseas too! But perhaps closer to home. Actually I've got lots of things i want to do over this period of time. Too much to list. And too lazy to list too.

Enjoy the break everyone! Think the ppl who have just finished the major exams truly deserve a break! As for guys going into NS, all the best. Make the best out of your hair now. For it'll be gone within minutes. Oh yes, I'm gonna snip snip snip snip off my hair. Any good hair stylists to recommend? =)

Take care all!
