Gamble it away!"National Council on Gambling".

The Day I lost my PINK sweaterThose of you who know me for a long time will know that I possess a pink sweater that's real comfy and cosy. This fateful day, I was so engrossed in the natural environment I was placed in that I DROPPED my sweater. And that place was, yes, a birding paradise. So that's in the West. Like EXTREME WEST. And only when I reached the east, then I started to frantically search for my jacket, high and low, in the not-so-big blue van. But at that point of time, the blue van did seem very big.
You cannot imagine how devastated I was when I realised that my sweater was missing. Nothing really could comfort me. Not even Jon. I felt really terrible. Then on the way back to the West, which was an agonizing LONG journey(even though Singapore isn't very big), there was only one person I could seek as Jon concentrates on bringing me back to the West. I think God knows my deepest thoughts and the more I ask God about it, the more sad I become. But I told Him that no matter what, I'll take it as a lesson learnt.
We drove to 3 destinations in the West that I could have possibly dropped the jacket out of blue van. The first two destinations were of course in vain. But at the final possible destination, just when I gave a BIG sigh and wanted to give up, Jon saw a pink thing on one of the branches. He drove closer and YES!!! It was my jacket! Gave my baby a BIIIIG hug, thanked God and praised Him for being soooo sooooo gracious to me! He's an awesome God!
Many many many many thanks for driving me around to find my pink sweater!!!! =) Soooo sweet! =)
Praise God for being sooo gracious and providing me with everything I need, giving me such a wonderful guy!
Thank YOU!

WHAT A WEEK!!!!!
Last Thurs was like the most exciting day of the year - so far. Well, yes, my life isn't that exciting but there IS a highlight nevertheless! =) It was the Chamber Music Festival, and T.H.E Quartet was very honoured to have a masterclass with the Australian String Quartet. They're such dynamic ppl, you never want the masterclass to end. We were alright on stage, but you should have seen the nerves backstage. Setting the tempo, clogging our ears to not listen to the beethoven group onstage, singing our parts, checking that we had ALL our scores, all these were pretty nerve wrecking! Nerves are good, cos it set us up pretty well, and I thought we probably played one of our best. Great job guys! =)
The masterclass was EXXCCIITTING!! They were clear in their instructions, had good demonstrations on my not so good violin, and were to the point about what they wanted from us. The feedback I got was that we were much more projected after ASQ gave us a few tips. So, that's good!!!
And the MOST EXXXXCCCCIIIITTTTTIIIIIINNNGGGG part came when we got our ticket to more exposure!!! T'ang Quartet offered to coach us! Woooohoooo! That's like MAJOR impact on me. I was like huh?!?!? You serious?!??! It's like a privilege. REEEAAALLLYYY a privilege! T.H.E Quartet was like SHOCKED, lost for words. Before our masterclass we were already talking about staying together etc. Never did we think an oppurtunity like that would fall on our laps. =) Looks like T.H.E Quartet will be together and around for quite some time ya? =D
Special thaaaaannnkkssss to Judy, our coach and mentor of T.H.E Quartet! THANK YOU!!! Without you, I don't think ASQ would want to conduct a masterclass with us, and the chance for more exposure wouldn't have been possible! Thanks for bearing with all the out of tune chords, tuning them for us, and teaching us to play as T.H.E Quartet! =)
Oh, and if you were wondering why we're T.H.E Quartet, we didn't know either. Untill the day before the masterclass. We were just kinda hyper and Elizabeth went, "Aren't we the haydn emperor quartet?" And the rest of us went, "Oh yaaaa!!!" And that was how our name came about. It's the first work our quartet has ever worked on =) It was like God just plonked the name in our minds.
God is a faithful God. He really is. I've seen how He has worked in my life. He's truly amazing.
