Jon and IThere is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven
A time to be born and a time to die , a time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh , a time to mourn and a time to dance ,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
A time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate , a time for war and a time for peace .
What does the worker gain from his toil?
I have seen the burden God has laid on men.
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Ecclesiates 3:1-11.
In His Time.

Last Hour of Teen-domSuddenly I just feel quite old. But I shall tell myself I'm not. Well, I'm really not! It's only turning 20. No big deal. The jump from 19 to 20 does sound pretty big though. Oh well...
I have enjoyed enough of teen-dom. Perhaps it's time to realise that I really should grow up and be somewhat independent. But, to a certain extent, I'm pretty much independent other than my parents giving me the monthly pocket money. 20 years old! I'm no more 19! 4th July. America's Independence Day. Youth Day. My birthday too! How ironic. It's Youth Day, yet it's a day I'm growing older! hehe. Growing older, but still very much youthful of course! =)
So there, goodbye teen-dom, happy independence day America, and Happy 20th Birthday to me (soon!)!
The biggest boo-boo of this birthday is that Jon's going back to serve the nation ON my birthday. Right smack ON my birthday. Called back to serve: 4th July - 8th July. Bah! Stupid SAF. The timing couldn't have been more perfect really... =/
Just a while more before I'm really 20 years old!
Thank you Lord for the 19 plus years I've spent on this earth! =)
