Finally!!!And they're married! =) Third December Year Two Thousand and Six. This wedding has been very much anticipated even though it's in the midst of the NUS exams. Now I have to try calling Ms Soon Mrs Ku. haha. Oh, but it was a real classy and fantastic wedding. I won't be forgetting her loooong train for the longest time! It's the longest train I've ever held up and seen! hehe. But it's really nice! I want one too next time. =) But I think the poor bridesmaids would have grown muscles at the end of the day!
It was fun tending to Ms Soon, holding up her train for her, helping her with her dressing up, pack her gown, wear her shoes (Oh, did I mentioned she had 1 red pair of shoes which I absolutely adore! So nice!), wear her accessories, and watch her transform into the elegant bride! Not that she's usually not, but she was exceptionally beautiful, elegant and classy on that day!
And I thought I was late when Mr Ku called me at 7.15am to ask me where I was. It kinda made Jon and I go into a flurry and sped all the way to Ms Soon's house. According to the schedule, we were supposed to arrive at 7.30am! Actually, I've still yet to know why Mr Ku called me. Maybe I was really late, cos all the bridesmaids were already there. But it wasn't 7.30am yet! Well, it's ok, most grooms do get anxious! =p
And then wow, the groom came in this really nice tux! Wow! So nice! Neat and reeeaally sweet! He came with the twin best man, who looks absolutely like him, and min claims that he's really good looking. haha. What were you thinking? He's the brother, and already married with 2 kids!
After a flurry of going to Mr Ku's house (and playing with the kids!

Look at how comfortable they both are in their own little corner!

(They're sooo cute!), and back to Ms Soon's house (of which loads of pictures were taken), it was soon the solemnization.
It was really nice cos the solemnization was done by a friend who knows Mr Ku's daddy and Mr Ong (Ms Soon's granduncle, I think). So warm and loving to hear them recite the vows. =) Even though there were some hiccups like the furniture and all, it was still a really sweet solemnization. After helping Jon plug in all his chargers in their bridal suite, we finally left them to rest for the evening.

Jon and I resting in the hotel.
But it didn't seem like they had much rest, cos Mr Ku was still running around! Poor him. *reminds myself to get a wedding planner! Someone who will run around that day to ensure everything's going ok!* And then soon after, the make up guy came, and Ms Soon had to start dressing up again!
And so did the 2 emcees! Oooooh, they were reeeaally pretty and sweet and classy and elegant and beautiful! haha. Betty's nice white gown, that looks like a longer version of mine, with the nice prints and Min's fantabulous dress that makes her look like a princess! Very nice ladies!!! =) Oh, and well done on the emcee job!!!
Oh, and this is the FIRST wedding dinner I've been to that didn't play cheesy music, especially when the servers walk in with the first dish. You know how everytime it's the hotel/restaurant's music that really spoils the atmosphere! This time they had really nice stuff for all the walk-ins (think Grainger and Walton) and even the never-ending Bolero in many many different orchestrations.
It was my first time co-ordinating table for group photos, and boy, it was real hard work. Somehow, people find it difficult to understand instructions like 'This side of the table stand up and move behind. The other side can remain seated.' Is it that difficult to understand? hmmm... Oh, all spoken in Chinese! I hope it wasn't my Chinese. hehe. Oh well, but there were some hiccups during the mass photography too -the order of the tables, but thankfully solved by the quick-witted best man (whom min thinks is good looking. hehe). Hope Mr Ku wasn't irritated by the hiccups! Good thing Jon managed to liven up the atmosphere (I think).
Very glad that the couple had such a beautiful wedding. All the hard work, waking up real early, changing into gowns and suits and lugging the super long train wherever you go, many many preparations months before, and of course the tiredness after the long day, I'm sure it is worth it, simple because you guys have found one another. =) May the both of you truly grow old together! =)
(Woke up the next day feeling numb and aching all over. haha. Must be the heels and the walking and standing around too much. Wonder if Ms Soon's legs were aching too! hehe.) BUT, it's all worth it, to see them happily married. =)
Gotta be patient with the pics cos the photographer has to meticulously post-process more than 800 shots! *go and encourage the photographer a bit! He's pretty swarmed with work and photos. hehe*

Dedicated to the photographer! Your ardent fans are waiting! Process quickly k!!! We want to see the pics! =)
