Officially off from school! No more uniforms! At least for 7 months and the years to come!
No more exams, perhaps other than my piano and violin exams.
No more textbooks, perhaps other than researching for viva voce and programme notes.
No more teachers breathing down my neck, perhaps other than my two music teachers.
No more mugging like I've no life! <------ I like this!
The air of freedom smells really nice. Though the girls kinda realised that we truly have NO life other than studying while we were in school. The group of us slouched over Coffee Bean's table, wondering what we should do. It's high time to get our lives back!
Life of a shop-a-holic. Have been gallavanting in Orchard for the past few days. Getting really bored of everything there. Initially aimed to find a new gown for Seniors' Night but eventually decided on not buying and keeping to what i have. Instead I've decided on getting new shoes, accessories, and other stuff to go with my dress. I'm sure some of you have seen me in that. My formal concert attire. Don't yawn unless you want to sponsor me for Seniors' Night. And I mean FULL sponsor. Or maybe 80%! I must be dreaming. Have been dreaming about the perfect gown but it doesn't seem to exist in reality, only in lala land. =) Shopping have been quite fun, but it's getting boring. Soon, I must find fresher things to do.
Of course, going back to TK for rehearsals have been fun. Miss playing together with TK. But I think playing in small chamber groups is more fun. =) Hope the upcoming camp between TCHS and TK will be fun (for the current TK girls of course!) The camp happens to be on 8,9,10 Dec. On Seniors' Night! So will be skipping the afternoon rehearsal. Should be thankful that I'm already going in the morning ya? =)
Went to catch the Swingle Singers on 29 Nov. They have made me staunchly believe that the voice is truly the most versatile instruments. They're really greeeaaatttt! Captivating. Their voices, so magical, ethereal, and stunning. I'm glad I went for the concert cos listening to their recordings is simply not enough. They're wonderful performers!!! You just gotta love them. But I gotta say that I utterly hate the esplanade usherers. Thank God they have already off-ed the lights and we found nice seats. (min and dan will know what i mean) Esplanade usherers should go for some common sense courses. And this is not the first time I'm having a problem with them. They don't possess any bit of cow sense. Zero. Zilch. Anyway, the concert was really good so that made up for the irritating usherers. =)
More shopping with debs tmr to settle on Seniors' Night stuff once and for all. This week's gonna be really hectic. With TK Gala Dinner (50th anni!) on 5 Dec, fri. SYO concert on 6 Dec, Sat. HC String Concert on 7 Dec, Sunday. AC Seniors' Night on 8 Dec, Monday. TK-TCHS String Rehearsals on 8,9,10 Dec. TK-TCHS Concert on 10 Dec, Wed.
Then I wanna go do watersports at some island. Bintan or whatever! Must plan plan plan... My sister's in US visiting my cousin. So I wanna go overseas too! But perhaps closer to home. Actually I've got lots of things i want to do over this period of time. Too much to list. And too lazy to list too.
Enjoy the break everyone! Think the ppl who have just finished the major exams truly deserve a break! As for guys going into NS, all the best. Make the best out of your hair now. For it'll be gone within minutes. Oh yes, I'm gonna snip snip snip snip off my hair. Any good hair stylists to recommend? =)
Take care all!
