Classes today are pretty alright other than the last period with my banded NA class. There's some problem with the school's cockpit and the situtaion of a double booking occured. So we had to merge classes. The students from my class refused to listen to the teacher who was teaching and said that they'll only listen if I teach. The most disgraceful thing that happened was when the teacher asked Daniel to arrange the chairs, he continued stoning. Then when I asked, he said "Oh, Miss Ong, you asked me to arrange? I'll arrange." I was like OMG OMG OMG. Super stunned and shocked. Was sooooo embarassed in front of the teacher. Thank God I managed to persuade him to apologise to the teacher. Sigh... My little kids. Oh yes... and James treated me to lunch today to compensate for his brainless behaviour during English class. =)
Teaching's a little more pleasant these few days because I screamed at my form class, 2N3 for misbehaving and taking teachers for granted. That was Tuesday. This is because on Monday they were extremely nasty to me and I absolutely could not take it anymore. Though some nicer ones chased after me I just totally had to ignore them and be very very sarcastic to them. Therefore on Tues, I taught them a lesson and that I'm not someone they can play a fool with. The lessons I've conducted these few days have been quite pleasant I must say.
Maybe cos I screamed at them on Tuesday therefore I fell sick on Tues night. During PCO rehearsal I was freezing like hell and my throat hurts like hell. Everytime I swallow my own saliva, it'll be like a sharp blade rubbing against the walls of my throat. Came down with a high fever during rehearsal and felt really terrible. Wonder where this wierd illness came from. Suddenly, I was struck by it. Now, my throat still sucks, fever running a little and I get pangs of headaches and dizziness. Hate falling sick and taking disgusting medicine. It was too late on Tues to see a doctor cos I reached home at 11 plus. So my mom took out the relevant medicine she could find around the house and gave it to me. yucks! The funniest thing is that even though there seems to be a sharp blade in my throat, I have yet to lost my voice. Almost wanted to take a day off today but decided that I better go to school since there are lots of classes today.
And the big big news, A levels results release is on Friday! This Friday! 5th March! 5th March 2004! As I envision myself in the hall, mixed feelings overwhelm me. Excited, yet afraid. Nervous, yet anticipating it. Want to get it over and done with, yet fainting with uncertainty. I wish the day would come quick, yet I don't really want it to come at all. It'll be a big reunion on Friday.
