Why don't we know how to cherish?
So many a times we often look back and say to ourselves, "I miss the good old days!" It's high time for us to learn how to treasure every moment we have so that we will not live in regret.
I really really miss JC even though the studying and cramming everything for A levels wasn't exactly absolutely interesting and fun. But it did form bonds within my beloved classmates! And we always wonder when our next class gathering will be. Our goal is to meet once every two months. It doesn't seem difficult to fulfil but we'll see how it goes. I wonder who'll organise the next meeting! =)
I really really miss the teaching days before university started, where I had the company of the ever-so-wonderful teachers! Especially the beautiful ladies who were relief-teaching with me! I miss the gossip sessions, talking about naughty kids, staff room politics (was an eye-opener). However, I must admit that the kids were way too naughty at some point of time and all the relief teachers just dreaded going into their classrooms. And of course the dreadful markings, of papers after papers after papers. But then, there were angelic classes who offset the naughty brats. Ladies (yes, I'm talking to Ms Koh, Ms Fong and Ms Teo!), it's about time we meet up! Now who's going to organise this ladies' meeting? =)
Well, university's not so bad after all especially with God showering his blessings on me. Though assignments, readings, projects can be quite a chore, it's pretty alright. I'm happy and pretty joyful with where I am right now, just like the Lord says in Phil 4:4. But I just can't help being nostalgic about the so wonderful past!
Nostalgia is good? No? I think it is. Brings people back together again. =)
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
