Starting School...
School's starting in 2 hours time! Then I'll b sitting in a lecture theatre, listening to the lecturer, looking up on the projected screen and writing things that I think are important. Or so I hope that school IS really like that. In actual fact, of course I do not want school to be like that cos that would be ultimately sooooo boring! But then again, isn't that the only viable way to get good grades?
So what am I in school for, really? Hmmm... Tough question to answer. Obviously I don't go to school to see my lecturers and tutors, to rush from tutorial class to lecture class or tutorial class to tutorial class, lecture class to tutorial class, or lecture class to lecture class - you get the idea, to submit papers that are due 1 minute before they are being collected by the tutor, to "actively" participate in tutorials so that I get my participation points, and the list goes on. There are so many things that I go to school for, oblivious to it all, but they're all so necessary for me to graduate.
It ain't nice in school without friends. Imagine that. Just going around school by yourself! Eeeeks! So there you go, an answer, or at least, something like an answer. Can't imagine school without any friends. Gosh! So people in NUS, or near NUS, if you're bored, wanna have lunch, tea, etc - call/sms me! I'll be more than glad to meet up - that's if I ain't confined to any lecture theatres or tutorial classrooms. =)
School's starting. No more time to laze around at home anymore. 2 weeks of lectures before tutorials begin!
Oh yes, my memory verse for this week:
"Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all hings, holding promise for both the presen life and the life to come."
