I'm happy where I am (part II)And so the journey continues. I think the 'indigenous people' there are living in their own world, because the Chinese there are NORMAL. I wanted to buy lunch from this stall, but this uncle refuses to bother with me no matter how long I stand there. Then other 'same breed' came along and ordered, he served them immediately. It doesn't matter how many times I called "Uncle!", they are just bent on ignoring me. So, I decided to not let them earn my money. And you thought that service in Singapore is bad. Nope, it isn't. Even hawker centre self-service can't beat that.
There are MANY other incidents, like even though they EARN so much money from people who inevitably need to use the toilets, they refuse to repair the toilet doors that will swing open when you try to shut them. Why not totally remove it then? Saves us the hassle of trying so hard to slam those doors. They ARE strange people indeed.
I shan't go on about this other land and their behaviours in their own little world. I just really am thankful that my home is here. =)
For those reading, pls pray for me this weekend. I'm up to my neck for events. Teaching, Wedding, Practices, Prep for Worship, and the list goes on. =S
